She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jerome "Doc"; her daughters, Jennifer Bartus (Michael) and Catherine Doczekalski; her siblings-in-law, Anita Mellens (Tony) and Dan Docel (Jackie); and her nieces and nephews, Annelise Munger (Tom), Lizzie Docel and Michael Mellens.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
