Sadami Okubo Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sadami Okubo of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sadami left this world on January 19, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Yutaka Okubo and Shizue Okubo (Ikuko). He is survived by: his wife Marianne Toshiko; his children, Jennifer Kimiko Uchikawa (Kei), Michael Chikara Okubo, Stephanie Mayumi Okubo and Jason Masato Okubo (Jessica); his grandsons, Yuuki and Kouki Uchikawa; his pet Luffy; and his siblings, Kiyoto Okubo (Satoko), Kiyomi Okubo (Chiyoe), Sakae Okubo (Kiyoe) and Teiko Sasaki (Hiroaki).

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.

Flowers are appreciated, however, donations to CCC (Community Character Coalition) of Elk Grove Village, or your favorite charity are preferred.
