With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sadami Okubo of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sadami left this world on January 19, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Toshiko; his children, Jennifer Kimiko Uchikawa (Kei), Michael Chikara Okubo, Stephanie Mayumi Okubo and Jason Masato Okubo (Jessica); his grandsons, Yuuki and Kouki Uchikawa; his pet Luffy; and his siblings, Kiyoto Okubo (Satoko), Kiyomi Okubo (Chiyoe), Sakae Okubo (Kiyoe) and Teiko Sasaki (Hiroaki).

Flowers are appreciated, however, donations to CCC (Community Character Coalition) of Elk Grove Village, or your favorite charity are preferred.
