We bid farewell to Robert L Spoerlein (Elk Grove Village, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2025 at the age of 73. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his children, Jessica McWain (Chris), Sarah Hamilton (Brett), Robert Spoerlein and Michael Spoerlein; his grandchildren, Cailyn Nicholson (Jarod), Christopher McWain and Raegan McWain; and his sisters, Alice Weber and Ann Ford (Steve). He is also survived by his cousins, and his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Queen of the Rosary Church (750 W Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Gary Sinise Foundation or The It's a Pittie Rescue, would be appreciated.
