He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert and Dolly; his nephew Brett Boland; and his nieces, Kathleen Mysko (Orest), Mary Ann Pauley and JoEllen DeSalvo (Louis).

He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his stepsons, Sean (Jennifer) and Joseph O'Brien; his granddaughter Ava O'Brien; his sister Paulette Gapastione (Tony); and his cousin Mary Beth Roberts.
