We bid farewell to Joseph G. Loan of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2024 at the age of 81. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Loan and Harriet Loan; his wife Carol; his children, Tracee Merkel, Kelli Guzzo (Frank), Jennifer Ferraro (Aaron Anderson) and Katie Bollweg (Johnny); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Tayler (Tyler), Nico, Dominic, Mackenzie and Hayden.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 9:45 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Julian Eymard Church (601 Biesterfield Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). An entombment was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association, would be appreciated.
