Janita Kemnitz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 76, Janita Kemnitz of Elk Grove Village, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack"; her parents, Marjorie Lawless and Joseph Lawless; and her siblings, David and Marjo.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian (Laura) and Brad (Ramina); her grandchildren, Christopher (Alex), Sarah, Grace, Jessica, John and Brooke; and her great grandchild Natalia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude or Lupus Foundation of America, would be appreciated.
