We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Janet K Van Klavern of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother John Van Klavern; and her parents, Verlin Klavern and Eloise Van Klavern. She is survived by: her sister Susan Jane Deason (Bruce); and her nieces and nephews, Dustin Cain (Katy), Tyler Cain (Katrina), Eoin, Lilly, Juliet, Rosie and Celia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the church or to Palatine Aglow Community Lighthouse.

“So sorry to hear of Jan's death. My memories go back to when she and her family lived in Detroit and then off Middlebelt Rd maybe in Garden City I would spend overnights with them. I know my mom and Aunt Eloise (Jan's Mom) and Aunt Evelyn were always close. And then visiting the family in Oak Lawn and then Jan in Elk Grove Village. Jan was always so full of life and welcoming. I have so many memories. Joel Engel”
