He was predeceased by: his parents, James Malas and Ruth Malas (Geis); his wife Elaine; and his siblings, James, Jr., Jeanne and Diane.
He is survived by: his children, Harriet Campbell (Joe) of Council Bluffs, Joey Malas (Margaret) of Bettendorf, IA and Robert Malas (Stephanie) of Lake; and his grandchildren, Caden, Alex and Victoria. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
