Melba Jean Sheldon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2024, at the age of 78, Melba Jean Sheldon of Elizabethtown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bertis Sheldon of Rosiclare, IL; her parents, Gene Boyd and Mary Boyd; her sister Dorthy Maxine Boyd; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Taylor and Leo Hohimer.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lacy (Austin McDonnell) of Ottawa, KS and Brandon Lacy (Genna Haas) of Fairview Heights, IL; and her siblings, Barbara Hohimer of Cave-In, Elizabeth Gee of Harrisburg, IL and Gary Boyd (Rose) of Roxana, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Donations may be made to the Cave-In-Rock Methodist Church or to the Hardin County Senior Citizens Council.
