She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Lane and Edith Lane (Burklow); and her siblings, Bill Lane, Wilma "Pud" McBride, Wanda McNear and Anna Mae "Shorty" Carter.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph Barnes; her daughter Sheila Brown of Elizabethtown; her siblings, James Lane of Harrisburg, J. C, Donnie Lane of Elizabethtown and Susie Moore (Steve) of Rosiclare; her grandchildren, Jacqueline "Jackie" Brown of Godfrey, Krista Brown of Bethalto, David Brown of East Alton and Kayla Lindley (Ryan) of Bethalto; and her great grandchild Brody Lindley of Bethalto. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions masks and social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the cemetery.
