With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Conner of Elizabethtown, Illinois, born in Hamilton, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Shelton and Frieda Shelton (Davis); her husband Lyle S. Conner; her stepfather Clarence Drake; and her siblings, Neva Mae Hasara, Patsy Sue Phelps, Buddy Shelton, Donald Shelton and Dean Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kindra Denham of Elizabethtown, IL, Kimberly Hylton of Elizabethtown, IL. and Kristen Monson (Michael) of Anna, IL; her sister-in-law Irene Shelton of McLeansboro, IL; and her uncle Charlie Davis of Lake. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (201 E Main St, Norris City, IL 62869). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City or may be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
