Jane Stunson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2020, at the age of 82, Jane Stunson of Elizabethtown, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Stunson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Lewis and Muriel Lewis (Ramsey); her former husband Randel "Jock" Belford; her husband James C. "Jim" Stunson; her son Randel Keith Belford; and her sister Jackie Frailey.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Belford (Rhonda) of Rosiclare, IL, Jimmy Stunson (Marge) of Elizabethtown, IL, Jeff Stunson (Christy) of Elizabethtown, IL and Mark Stunson of Elizabethtown, IL; her daughter-in-law Gayle Belford of Rosiclare, IL; her grandchildren, James Stunson, Kasi Joyner, Mackenzie Lowery, Janet Cohorst, Jessi Stunson, Jana Cowgill, Jerod Belford and Britt Belford; her great grandchildren, Knox, Scout Lowery, Adam, Eli Williams, Bella Kopman, Quinlee Cowgill, Brooklyn, Callie, Gavin and Jaxon Belford; and her friend Linda Hughes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family, and special friends.

“There were four of us girls that when in school you never saw one without the other. Jane Lewis Stunson was one of the four. Jane and I have been friends since first grade. I always tried to see her when I went back to Hardin County. Rest High On The Mountain Jane! I’ll miss you!”
