With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robert Dorris of Elizabethtown, Illinois, born in Harrisburg, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louis and Rosa Lee Dorris (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Paula Dorris (Patton); his children, Daniel Mings, Patrick Mings, Robert Dorris, Doug Dorris, Wesley Dorris, James P. Dorris and Katherine Antunez; and his brother Ron Dorris (Tracy). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Elizabethtown or to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
