He is survived by: his wife Peggy Byard (Flynn) of Elizabethtown; his children, Kevin Byard of Nevada and Kathy Dallas (Steve) of Clarksville; and his stepchildren, Bob Dale, Danny Dale and Ramona Bayne. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
