It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Conkle of Elizabethtown, Illinois, born in Hardin, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Hayett Conkle; his son Scott Conkle; his parents, Fred Conkle and Ella Conkle; and his siblings, Albert, Charles, Jasper, Fredrick, Boyd Conkle and Linnie Volkert.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Conkle of Elizabethtown, IL, Robin Stocker (Don) of Wisconsin and Theresa Catlett of Utah. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
