He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Grulke and Ruth Grulke; his brothers, Herbert Grulke and Roger Grulke; and his granddaughter Sarah Pierson.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Anne Solberg; his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Grulke; his daughters, Terryl Rajcevich (Joe) of Waukegan, IL, Mollie Grulke Mercado of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Tracey Nixon of Antioch, IL and Meganne Pierson (Tom) of Bristol, WI; and his sister Sally Naden (L. Nate) of Gurnee, IL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
