He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rhymes and Florence Hansen; and his siblings, Delores Braasch, Larry Rhymes and Diane Peabody.

He is survived by: his wife Sally; his daughters, Rebecca Dill (Joe) and Sara Sabo (Rick); and his grandchildren, Sarah Dill, Rachel Dill, John Sabo and Mary Sabo.
