Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Edward Meek of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 80, on December 25, 2024. Though William Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Meek and Agatha Meek (Wallace); and his sons, Daniel and Jesse. He is survived by: his wife Mary Meek (Reiling); his son Paul; and his siblings, S. Sandra Meek, James Meek and Robert Meek. He is also survived by his family & friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in his name.
