He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Allen and Helen Allen (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Karen Allen (Schmidt); his children, Scott Allen (Shelly) and Kari Botkin (Tony); and his grandchildren, Paige Mutsch (Greg), Griffin Allen (Allyssa Post) and Allie Botkin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
