She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Nelson and Neva Nelson (Habley); her husband Larry Franzen; her sister Mary Oine (Louie); her daughters, Beth Girard (John), Mary Nelson (Randy) and Ellen Hannah (Brian); her grandchildren, Zachary Girard, Katie Buck (Neal), Emily Girard, Josh Nelson, Mike Nelson, Ashley Goss (Mikayla) and Cassidy Hannah; and her great grandchildren, Virginia, Joleene and Eleanor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Peter Lutheran Church (18N377 Galligan Rd, West Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: St. Peter Lutheran Church, Turning Point of Woodstock, Soul Harbour Animal Therapy Program, or Helping Paws Animal Shelter in Woodstock.
