We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2022, at the age of 89, Thomas A. Ayres (Elgin, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Raush; and his stepfather George Raush (Karin). He is survived by: his children, Thom Ayres of Chicago, IL, Susan Heredia (Efren) of Waukegan, IL, Michael Ayres (Rebekka) of DeKalb, IL and Kristine Kellums of Decatur, IL.; his grandchildren, Seth, Kyleigh, Alec Heredia, Diana, Max, Violet Ayres and Gabrielle Severson; and his great grandchild Levi Heredia-Melhorn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the Gail Borden Public Library.
