She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruperto Mendoza and Hilaria Mendoza; and her siblings, Manuel Escobedo, Roberto Mendoza, Paula Martinez and Ruperto Mendoza Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Llamas and Javier Llamas (Cindy); and her grandchildren, J. J., Meredith and Asia. She is also survived by her 2 brothers, her many nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law.
