She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bognar and Ruth Bognar; and her brothers, Marvin and Larry Bognar. She is survived by: her husband Groh Awning; her sons, Michael, Gerald (Carol Siete) and John R. (Linda); and her siblings, Richard Bognar and Linda Crinigan (James). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
