She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva E. Herbert and Ida O Herbert (Barkow); her husband Ralph Theodore Fowler Jr.; her sister Carolyn Luscher; her half-brothers, Maurice Herbert and Russell Herbert; and her nephew David Luscher.
She is survived by: her children, Robert C Fowler (Pam), Carol S Fowler and Marcy A Wort (Ron); her grandsons, Keaton G Wort, Zachary R Wort, Dylan R Wort and Colby L Wort; her niece Kathy McGraw (Jerry); her nephew Richard Luscher; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tom McGraw (Jennifer), Michael McGraw (Jill), Sean McGraw (Tosha) and Kelle Brieger (Tim); and her close friends, Barb Mensching and Barb Nicholson.
Memorials may be made to either First Baptist Church of Elgin or the American Cancer Society.
