With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Colwell of Elgin, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Schaid and Elaine Schaid (Osuch). She is survived by: her husband Tom Colwell; her daughters, Christine Dille (Michael) and Joy Gates (Aaron); her grandchildren, Joshua Dille (Allison), Nathanael Dille (Colleen), Andrew Dille, Julia Dille, Callie Gates, Avery Gates, Archer Gates, Ryder Gates and Maverick Gates; and her siblings, David Schaid (Candy) and Karen Schaid Wagner.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in honor of Sharon to Team Gleason, the ALS foundation which provided Sharon with her electric wheelchair.
