With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott Allen Toppel of Elgin, Illinois, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Toppel and Karla Toppel; his grandparents, Carl, Rosa Belle Hostettler, Fred and Betty Toppel; and his pet Thunder.

He is survived by: his partner Gregg Hagen; his sister Tammy Toppel Chmelik (Paul); his niece Karli Chmelik; his nephew Patrick Chmelik; his friend Scott; and his pets, Hank and Emma.
