He is survived by: his wife Delois Townsend; his children, Terry Townsend (Crissi) of Beatrice, NE, Shirley Townsend of Malden, MO and Rhonda Townsend; his grandchildren, Carla Martin, Tyanna Issac of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jeremy Townsend, Jared Townsend (Angel) of Crystal Lake, IL, Jamar Townsend of Belvidere, IL and Reese Townsend of Beatrice, NE; his great grandchild Chris Holling of Sycamore, IL; and his siblings, Yvonne Tucker of New Madrid, MO, Cubie Lee Townsend, Roy Townsend of Charleston, MO, Bobby Townsend (Versa) of St. Louis, MO and W. L. Townsend of Elgin, IL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
