It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Stanley Kooiker (Elgin, Illinois), born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Kooiker. He is survived by: his mother Barbra Kooiker; his sons, Matthew Kooiker (Sarah) and Timothy Kooiker (Kristen); his grandchildren, Owen, Madeline and Henry Kooiker; and his siblings, Donna Pacchini (Michael), Ann Noeska (Paul), Linda Finn (David) and Thomas Kooiker (Sarah). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks for donations to West Ridge Community Church, where Richard was an active member.
