She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Miner and Lily Miner (Jensen); her husband James H. Chapin of Lord's Park; her stepdaughter Robin Bowers; and her brother Edwin Miner Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Chapin (Sheli), Julie Cerasa (Mark) and Jill Eads (Nathan); her grandchildren, Julia Jacobson (Marc), Jamie Chapin, Brandon Cerasa (Rachel), Brody Eads, Bridget Eads, Lauren Nubel (Daniel), Kristen Busch (Michael) and Kimberley Bowers; and her great grandchildren, Maclaine Jacobson, Jamie, Ari Nubel, Scarlett and Samantha Busch.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (216 E Highland Ave, Elgin, IL 60120).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Elgin.
