Nancy P. Johnson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy P. Johnson of Elgin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Fabbri and Mary Fabbri (Munaretto); and her husband Lawrence "Larry" B. Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Ann Edelmann and Cathy Johnson; her grandsons, Matthew (Shelby) and Steven (Victoria); and her siblings, John Fabbri (Laverne) and Paulette Wilson (Wayne). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (397 Fulton St, Elgin, IL 60120).
