It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Shannon of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shannon and Margaret Jennings Shannon; his daughter Wendy Toufexis; and his sister Barbara Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Sandi; his daughters, Pamela Burke (Mark) and Lori Marty (Jeffrey); and his siblings, Mary Signer (Earl), Patricia Hill (Raymond) and James Shannon. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
