He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kirmse and Anna Marie Kirmse (Yedinak); and his daughter Crystal Kirmse. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Matt Kirmse and Valene Kirmse; his grandchildren, J. J., Aila, Kross, Ayden and Kolt; his great grandchild Christopher; and his siblings, Paula, Pat (Gary), Mary and Debbie (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics.
