She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Smith (Bud) and Ruby Smith (Reisinger); and her husband Richard "Pete" Kovacs. She is survived by: her children, Randy Kovacs of Elgin, IL, Julie (Kovacs), Jerry Fisher of Phoenix, AZ, Amy Kovacs of Elgin, IL and Matthew Kovacs of Elgin, IL; her stepdaughters, Karen Kovacs and Sharon Kovacs of Geneva, IL.; her grandchildren, Ryan, Nikki, Lindsay, Lauren, Maddie, Hayley, Deeanna, Eric, Braden and Grace; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Liam, Myles and Emerson; and her cousins, Becky Smego (Joustra) of Huntley, IL and Steve Joustra of Elgin.
Memorial donations may be made to Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, IL 60134 in MaryAnn Kovacs' name.
