The memory of Mary Ellen (Barrett) Caruso (Elgin, Illinois), who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin J. and Mary E. Barrett (O'Malley); her brother John (Valerie); and her pet Snuggles. She is survived by: her children, Joseph M. Caruso, Anne M. Compton (Faron) and Edward M. Caruso (Jocelyn); her husband Joe; her grandchild Ashlely; her great grandchild Sierra; her brother Phillip (Kay); and also, Joe, Anne (Faron) and Ed (Joy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (215 Thomas More Dr, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
