As Mario Alanis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mario Alanis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mario Alanis leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Emerenciana Alcantara Ramirez; his daughters, Nanci and Ana (Angel Mayen); and his grandson Angel "Angie" Mayen. He is also survived by loving husband to his wife of almost 35 years, the most compassionate father to his two daughters.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Service (51 Center St, Elgin, IL 60120). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral and Cremation Chapel (51 Center St, Elgin, IL 60120).
