With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Iris Padro of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lydia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lydia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Otero and Filomena Class. She is survived by: her husband Angel Padro; her children, Norma Contreras, Louis Padro and Felix Ramos; her grandchildren, Diana Ferreris and Raul Ferreris; and her niece Gloria Rodriguez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Symonds-Madison Funeral Home (305 Park St, Elgin, IL 60120). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
