She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fohrman and Virginia Fohrman. She is survived by: her husband John Broom; her children, Kevin Broom (Claudia) and Traci Payne (Christopher); her grandson Andrew Broom; and her siblings, Marcia Springinsguth, Gail Rushka and Albert Fohrman, Jr..

Donations may also be made in her name to the Carmelite Monastery in Jackson, Ms.
