With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Charles Bierlein of Elgin, Illinois, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Bierlein and Lorna Bierlein; his son Joel Paul; the parents of child, Carl and Lorna Bierlein; his wife Leila Bierlein; his sons, Jim Bierlein (Beth) of Geneva, IL and Jeffrey Bierlein of Westminster, CO; his sister Anne Schiefer (Eugene); his grandchildren, Aliya and Jonathan Bierlein; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Schiefer (Shari) of Essexville, MI, Rachel Coskie (Chet) of Seattle, WA, Matthew, Sally and Christopher Rutz.
