With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Ramsey of Elgin, Illinois, born in Bonnie, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Campbell and Ruby Wells Campbell; and her siblings, Helen Campbell, Lula Smith and William Campbell.
She is survived by: her husband Harley Ramsey; her children, Rick Ramsey (Jill), Rod Ramsey (Brenda) and Sharon Ramsey Schuman (John); and her grandchildren, Christopher Schuman, Tabitha Maness (Jarrod), Brian Schuman and Brianna Ramsey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of choice.
