She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mathieu and Ruth Mathieu; and her son David Samuel. She is survived by: her husband Leslie Samuel of Elgin; her children, Sandra Rose (Billy) and Leslie C. Samuel Jr. (Jill); her grandchildren, Andrew, Leslie III and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Athena and Esme. She is also survived by two sisters, along with many nieces and nephews.
