It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Hinton of Elgin, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Alabama, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Ferguson and John Hinton; her grandmother Neata; and her siblings, Claudia Westbrook and David Hersey.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwight Hinton of Elgin, Preston Hinton (Christener) of Chicago and Steve Hinton (Lena) of Mather, CA; her siblings, Emmett Latham (Odester) of Carrollton, AL, Richard Hersey of Elgin, IL, Gloria Ellis (Roosevelt) of Pingree Grove, IL and Patricia Little of Reform, AL; and her grandchildren, Julius Hinton of Elgin, Gabrielle and Sierra Hinton of Mather, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
