With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Bernas of Elgin, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James King and Joanne King; her husband Richard J. Bernas; her son Dale Bernas; and her brother John King.
She is survived by: her son David Bernas (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Paige, Michael, Aaron and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Danielle, Nova and Brock; her brother Jim King (Marilyn); and her sister-in-law Paula Alvarez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church memorial fund.
