With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James T Balkus of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedwig "Hattie" Klahn and Earl; his brother Robert; and his friend Freda Fetting. He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Carol Ann), Cheryl (Thomas) and Kerri (Brian); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Margaret, Melissa, Veronica, Natalie and Gabriel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Epworth United Methodist Church.
