We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, at the age of 76, Guadalupe Ortega of Elgin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Celina Ortega of Leon, Ortega Ochoa Maria, Miguel Ortega Ochoa and Francisco Ortega Ochoa; and his grandson Eduardo.
He is survived by: his parents, Miguel Ortega Vera and Teresa Ochoa Patino; his wife Josefina Ortega; his children, Maria Guadalupe Rosas (Martin), Herminia Aurora Ortega (Jose Luis Pelcastre), Roberto Ortega (Deanna), Edith Ortega (Cornelio Pelcastre), Dalid Ivonne Ortega (Salvador Franco), Alejandro Ortega, Miguel Ortega and Rodrigo Ortega; his sister Mara (Socorro Ortega Ochoa); and his grandchildren, Christian, Jose, Abraham, Carlos, Michel, Chelsy, Vanesa, Robert, Raziel, Christopher, Sebastian and Gibran. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Symonds-Madison Funeral Home (305 Park St, Elgin, IL 60120). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
