He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Adam Bertacchi, Cassandra Eaton (Taylor), Mario Bertacchi and Iolanda Bertacchi; his parents, Marisa Rosignoli and Adolph Bertacchi; and his sisters, Carla Hornsberger (Erwin) and Laura Fisher.
