He was predeceased by: his parents, John Belcher and Hideko Belcher (Yamashita); his brother-in-law Rev. Edward Seisser; and his brother Kyoudai. He is survived by: his wife Anne Belcher (Seisser); his children, Chelsea Haynes (Bo), Lucas Belcher (Emily), Aidan Belcher (Anneliese) and Isabel Belcher; his grandchildren, Amy, Hideko, Mei, Corrine, Naomi, Masao, Genevieve and Elias; and his siblings, Kathy Monroe (Greg), Kevin Belcher (Robin) and Sean Belcher (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.
