She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Oldenburg and Martha Oldenburg; her husband Melvin Wilkening; her son Richard; and her son-in-law James Newby.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Stonecipher (James), David Wilkening (Judith) and Cathy Newby; her grandchildren, Chad (Angie), Aimee (Gary), James (Cortney) and Josh; her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Brett, Emma, Mason, Nora, Noele, James "Quaid" and Nelson; and her grandson Hayden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Elgin.
