He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Berger and Elsie Berger; and his sister Ruth Jerard. He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Berger; and his children, Jean Alt (Lyle), Laura Berger, Donna Joike (Trevor) and Donald Berger II.
