David Alan Schauss Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alan Schauss of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Marcella Schauss, Albert and Catherine Shannon. He is survived by: his parents, James Schauss and Shirley Schauss (Shannon) of Jefferson; his brother Rick Schauss (Dawn) of Eau Claire; his nephews, Kurt and Shane Schauss (Colleen M. Courtney) of Eau Claire; and his uncle Donald Shannon. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

And, even in his death, he continued to help so many others by giving the gift of life through organ donation with the "Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network" in Illinois.
