He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lorenz and Dolores Lorenz (Hayes); his brother Kyle Lorenz (Debbie); and his brother-in-law Brian Kuykendall (Michele). He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Kuykendall); his children, Jennifer Glover, Vanessa Lorenz, Zachary Lorenz and Kimberly Lorenz; his grandchild Ashes Glover (Aaliyah); and his siblings, Richard Lorenz, Robyn Lorenz and Gene Lorenz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

“many memories of darryl and kyle. we shared a trailer in glendale arizona in the early 1970s .i rember racing him up south mt in phoenix. he had his 64 fairlane and i was on a 750 honda. i won but he and i and jerry watched the sun go down from the top. great memories.”
